Looking for an interesting lunchtime experience? We welcome the return of the Lunch Box Art Talk! Thursday (9/26) is the first scheduled talk of the 2013-2014 academic year.
Join Drawing and Painting Instructor Chuck Ott as he shares his and Rachel Guthrie's experiences visiting Minsk, Belarus this past June.

- taking an art show of 15 Portland based artist to Minsk, (Jeff Badger, Jeff Bell, Mary Ledue Bell, Elizabeth Bieber, Michel Droge, Christian Farnsworth, Tracy Ginn, Thurston Howes, Hilary Irons, Megan Jones, Bessie Moulton, Kate Sibol, Anthony Tafuri, Rachel Guthrie and Chuck Ott)
- catching a performance of Swan Lake
- visiting the Khatyn Memorial Site
- wandering greater Minsk in search of authentic Belarus cuisine.

Life as Art
The SMCC Art Club is sponsoring Open Life Drawing
Sessions. The sessions begin Sunday 9/29 in the Art Studio from 4 - 6:30pm.
The drawing sessions will feature life models every Sunday
from
4 - 6:30pm until further notice (except for holiday weekends), alternating models regularly.
Easels, boards, and drawing benches are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants should supply their own paper and materials. These sessions are free and open to all members of the SMCC community.
