SMCC Foundation 5K: Race for the Future

8:00 am – Race starts on Shoreway Lane
9:00 am – Free Children's Run starts

Walk, run, or race to the finish line in support of SMCC students in the Foundation 5K or free Children's Run along our scenic coastline.

 multimedia exhibition and artist’s reception. Alumni artists were nominated for 
participation by SMCC Art faculty.

Spring Fest

Due to weather, the May Day plan for Spring Fest was postponed to Tuesday May 6th.

There will be a FREE Bar-B-Que, games, and the fun of tie-dying your own T-shirts.

Date:   Tuesday, May 6
Time:  11:00 am - 1:30 pm
Place:  Outside the Cafeteria

Cap and Gown pick up will be held inside the cafeteria.

1 Acts


The Show Goes On in Jewett Hall Auditorium on Wednesday, May 7th. 1 Acts is a presentation of five student-directed one act plays produced and performed by SMCC's theater folk known as the CliffHangers.

Time:  7:30 pm
Place: Jewett Hall Auditorium

General Admission is $7.00 and suggested donation of $5.00 for students with IDs.

On Tuesday, April 29 the CeSIL office hosted it's annual student leader and organization recognition in the Ocean View Dining Hall on the South Portland Campus.  The following students were presented with awards:

Student Leader Boot Camp
Get your leadership skills in shape!
Friday, August 22
10:00 AM –5:00 PM

Join us for a day of great training to prepare you to take your leadership skills to the next level.

Sessions will include goal setting, recruitment and  fundraising.
Final schedule will be set over the summer based on participant feedback.
Participants will receive a free t-shirt as well as lunch and dinner.
