The Maine People’s Alliance (MPA) is Maine’s largest nonprofit grassroots community action group with a membership of more than 32,000 households across Maine. We are seeking Field Canvassers in each of our three offices across the state, Portland, Lewiston and Bangor. Leadership opportunities are available.
In this vital election year, our field organization teams will have tens of thousands of conversations with Maine voters about issues that matter most, such as health care, worker’s rights, immigrant rights, our environment and the upcoming election. Prom Dress Collection
Do you have a gently used prom dress taking up extra space in your closet? Let us help you out.
On March 17th - 19th, the SMCC Service club will be collecting gently used prom dresses to donate to Cape Closet. Cape Closet redistributes the dresses for free to girls in the Greater Portland area to use for their proms in May.
When: March 17th - 19th, 11:00 AM -3:00 PM
Where: SMCC Campus Center
While you are home over break, consider digging through your closet. If you have dresses to drop off before the break, come to the CeSIL office with your donations.
