Michael Rood Transfer Scholarship  Winner

Since 2009, the New England Regional Alumni (NERA) of Phi Theta Kappa have selected two active chapter members within the region to receive a $100 scholarship to help defray the cost of transfer applications. This scholarship was formed to create an opportunity for students who plan to transfer from their two-year college to a four-year university.

This year, we are proud to announce that Andrew Ballantyne, Vice President of Administration for SMCC's Alpha Chi Nu chapter, is one of the recipients of the 2013 scholarship. Andrew is studying Electrical Engineer Technology and has been previously featured in our Student Leader Profile.

Congratulations Andrew!
