The Center for Student Involvement & Leadership (CeSIL) is the College’s one stop center for students who want to get more involved in campus life, serve their community and develop their leadership skills. Students who are active participants in the life of the college are more likely to persist and be successful in college. Getting involved provides an opportunity to build connections with fellow students and with faculty and staff and to develop lifelong friends and mentors. No matter what a student’s interest, the college provides an opportunity to get involved. From student government, honors and community service societies, technical and trade organizations, music groups, the student newspaper and literary magazine to intercollegiate athletics, there is something for everyone. Clubs and organizations provide students opportunities for social interaction, recreation, leadership training and enhancement of academic interests. It is also very easy to start a new club on campus so if we don’t offer something you are interested in we can help you start it.
Stop by the center to learn more
about the opportunities available at the College and to network with other
students active in campus life. For more information on specific activities,
clubs and the center please visit our page in the MySMCC portal, in the
“Students” section under Campus Life.

Brochure.
The Center for Student Involvement and Leadership is located on the first floor of the Campus Center next to Enrollment Services.
